works great Redoing the entire fork and needed oil. filled up and had plenty left over. Pros: it works in the fork Cons: seems like there should be a cheaper alternative Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: April 04, 2013 Reviewed by: david w. Was this review Helpful? Worked great for a damper bleed in my White Brothers Loop Fork. Best Value. Cons: None Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: December 03, 2012 Reviewed by: Matt M., Wisconsin Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
Made my Lyrik DH and Boxxer buttery smooth so they can turn super gnar DH tracks into bike paths.... Pros: Makes my forks happy so I'm happy Cons: Actually have to service your fork to use it...would rather be riding

Seemed like I already had every weight oil except the one I needed (5 wt) to bleed my SID XX remote lockout. Worked great and the fork is running like new again. works well I bought this oil to service my Rock Shox forks and rear shocks, per the manufacturer's specifications. It works like it's supposed to. Pros: works well Cons: expensive, but it lasts a while Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: August 19, 2012 Reviewed by: Ed S., Sacramento, CA Was this review Helpful? OEM type stuff works great I bought this to try to change the travel in my fork. It seems to work fine and is what they put in there from the factory. So far no issues. So it's what was there before. Isn't that what they would recommend? Pros: OEM Cons: Not cheap Would Buy Again: Yes Reviewed on: July 02, 2012 Reviewed by: Mark S., Oregon Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
Great fork oil. I've tried a few other brands of oil in my Rock Shox. This is still the best that I've used. Actually seems to make a difference when the fork is really working at high speeds. Pros: Keeps my fork happy, especially at high frequency bumps. Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: June 26, 2012 Reviewed by: Josh K., Washington Was this review Helpful? Works real well with RS forks. Keep in mind not all 5 wt. fork oil has the same viscosity so buying the particular brand for your fork is actually a good idea and what the design parameters work best with. Looking at fork oil charts, the only other one I'd recommend is Redline's oils. Fox's 5 wt is different! Pros: Works as designed with RS forks. Cons: Pricey. This is the only oil I run in my Rockshox forks. It keeps them feeling like new. I wouldn't considering running anything else. Its a tad pricey. Pros: Rockshox Oil, for Rockshox forks!. Cons: Expensive Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: May 14, 2012 Reviewed by: Jason W., Washington Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
Rebranded Maxima Racing oil. Some of the best suspension oil i've used. Reduces stiction and stays quite consistent from top to bottom. If you have Marzocchi or Rock Shox forks, using this oil will ensure top performance. Pros: -Consistent
-Right viscosity
-Reduces stiction Cons: Foams a bit more than other fluids such as Torco RFF. Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: March 25, 2012 Reviewed by: Rodrigo V., International Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
Got my bottles of oil on time as expected with no breakage or leaking. Just finished changing out the oil and everything went as smooth as could be and my forks now feel good as new. I also replaced the seals and wipers. Reviewed on: March 07, 2012 Reviewed by: Jeremy M., McKinney, TX Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
It's oil I didn't need much so I was happy Universal Cycles sells the small size, but anything more and I buy motorcycle fork oil. Same stuff but way cheaper. Best you can get This one is pretty simple - best oil you can get. Why go with something else - especially if you're running a rockshox fork/shock? It's made by the same folks that built your fork/shock. In my opinion, I would think going with their product would be a safer bet than trying something else. That is just my opinion though. Works exactly as intended. I always keep a couple bottles stocked up for when I freshen up my Boxxer/Vivid. Pros: Best oil for the job. Pretty straightforward and simple choice for me. Cons: Not the easiest to pour, but that's being pretty critical...! Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: May 20, 2011 Reviewed by: douglas g., Oregon Was this review Helpful? its oil, what do you expect It's kind of a bummer that you can't just go to the local hardware store and get a quart of oil for your shock. Pros: works fine Cons: need to buy specialty oil for your shock Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: May 14, 2011 Reviewed by: Kent K., Madison, WI Was this review Helpful? Used it in my 2010 Boxxer Team I had this oil in my 2010 Boxxer Team and it performed pretty well; however, it was difficult to get a good assessment of it b/c the damper was malfunctioning. My LBS then replaced the damper and oil with another brand (I don't recall which brand) and the fork performed significantly better. My LBS recommended going with brand X over this. I still have this at home and I'll likely run it again if I do the oil change myself. Quality product and a must for shock service. It's a good idea to keep high quality shock Oil around for service needs. This shock oil works well but it's no better than other high quality brands. Performance oil I bought this as lubrication oil for my Rock Shox Totem. Simply put, this is THE oil to use for the job. I have never had any problems with any of SRAM's oils. They get the job done. Pros: High quality, gets the job done, they make it easy to change out the oil in their forks so you might as well do it to prolong the life and performance of the fork. Cons: Bottle can leak if transported. I recommend double bagging it in 2, 1 gallon ziplock bags when it has been opened and you are transporting it.
