Not the best... These do not fit tightly on the freewheel cassette and therefore will work loose with time. I would suggest looking elsewhere for a SS conversion kit. Cons: Loose fit, cannot tighten properly. Would Buy Again: No Would Recommend: No Reviewed on: February 27, 2013 Reviewed by: TC, Kansas Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
Does the job. It works well. You can fine tune your chainline. Great way to convert a geared hub to single-speed. Pros: Cheap. Cons: Not fancy. A spacer is a spacer I bought the kit without the cog. This also meant that I didn't get the lockring. You need a 12t lockring to fit these spacers. The picture shows what appears to be 2- 3mm and 6- 1mm spacers. I think mine came with 6- 2mm and 2- .5mm spacers. I have had some issues getting my cog to be centered while getting the correct amount of spacers to fit the lockring. The spacers are also a bit larger than my freehub which means it takes some massaging to line up perfectly. Pros: Durable Cons: Needs more in between sized spacers to get best adjustments. Wheels Mfg Single Speed conversion kit This product was meant for the conversion from geared hub to single speed. This is the first brand I have tried, but I feel they left out a part. While I am pleased with the actual quality of the product, I don't feel the value was great because I still need to buy an additional part to make this work. I assumed because it was a conversion kit, it would have everything I'd need. However, I still need to buy the cassette lock ring to hold everything on the wheel's hub. A little disappointed that didn't have everything I needed, but I think that was my fault. I need to do better research next time. Cons: Needs one additional part to make it work so it isn't the complete kit. Make sure to order a lock ring with it if you buy it. I picked up the spacers-only kit for Shimano freehubs, and it works fine. The finish isn't as nice and the chainline is a bit less adjustable than with the Fibonacci kit, but it's less than half the cost and probably flexible enough to get the chainline within a millimeter of perfect for most applications. A good value Spacers come in a good variety of sizes. I have used them on shimano hubs and had no issue getting a perfect chain line. Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: March 10, 2011 Reviewed by: Richard B., New York Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate

Good amount of spacers Easy to setup your chainline perfectly. Pros: Ease Cons: $$$$ Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: February 03, 2011 Reviewed by: Colin M., Oregon Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
The Shimano Kit (Minus Cog) i was not impressed with. It came with NO lockring, and was missing one spacer.
Loose tolerances, and poor fitting spacers that walk out and around when tightened.
It worked, but was not pretty. maybe I expected too much. Pros: Inexpensive Cons: Spacers fit loose
No lockring

The cog that came with my Shimano kit did not look like the picture. In fact, it was just a thin piece of metal that I wouldn't ever trust on my bike. That said, I bought it knowing I wouldn't use the cog.
The spacers do the job on my Shimano freehub. Pros: good spacers and lockring Cons: cog is worthless Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: October 19, 2010 Reviewed by: paul a., California Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
This is a mixed bag with this SS conversion kit. On the positive, I like the different thickness of the many spacers. Easy to line up the cog with your chainline, On the not so positive, there was a looseness in the way the adapters feel on the freehub, and I did not like the thin cog. Having said that, this did work, and for the money it is less expensive than other setups or Surly stainless cogs, but in my opinion, I would look at other conversion kits Pros: lots of adjustment with the spacers Would Buy Again: No Would Recommend: No Reviewed on: October 18, 2010 Reviewed by: Terry T., Hawaii Was this review Helpful? I bought the spacers only kit for Shimano compatible hubs. I bought this kit because it has thin 1mm spacers for fine chainline adjustment (that some other kits don't include at all) and it has a lot of them. The plethora of thin spacers have also come in handy for setting up "dinglespeeds" and custom cassettes Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: September 16, 2010 Reviewed by: Nate, California Was this review Helpful? This is a flawed design. Using a ramped cog off the campy cassette will only result in you dropping your chain while pedaling resulting in a crash.
I was lucky this happened to me with no traffic other wise I could likely have been hit by a car. Cons: Suggests the use of a ramped cog which is dangerous Would Buy Again: No Would Recommend: No Reviewed on: September 13, 2010 Reviewed by: Keith H., Massachusetts Was this review Helpful? This relates to the Shimano, no cog spacers offering. Pros: Good price. Cons: The 1mm spacers' outer diameter is larger than the 4.5mm spacers' outer. The inner is the same for both 1mm and 4.5mm, of course. If I had know this before buying, I would have looked elsewhere.
