Whip-tastic Park Chain Whip! This chain whip is super-burly and definitely gets the job done. I have used it on everything from my 1/8" single speed rear to 10 speed cassettes. No fear of breakage with this super-duty Park chain whip! The nice long lever arm is great too! Pros: Extra Tough

Does a simple job well with good tolerances. Have not tried it on a 10 speed cassette. Hex end is good for bottom bracket cup tool. Pros: Does the job
Hex works well on bottom bracket cup tool Cons: Could round the edge of the handle to make it more comfortable to grip Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: October 01, 2010 Reviewed by: Andrew R., British Columbia Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
Strong tool, Handy Hex Opening Tool works well for it's intended purpose. Hex opening for free wheel remover comes in handy. Pros: Handy hex opening for remover. Cons: Poor ergonomics. Simple design and quality materials. This tool is a must if you switch your own cassettes or take your cassette off for a good cleaning. Just place the short fixed chain on one of your middle sprockets and wrap the loose chain around the same sprocket. Hold onto the bar while you turn your cassette lock ring tool. Done!! Pros: Simple design, quality materials. Cons: The chain used seems to be a 8 or 9 speed width. It will work with a 10 speed cassette but be careful to get the chain whip lined up parallel with the sprocket. The SR-1 is a convenient tool to have laying around. Without it, you won't be changing your own cassettes. Having an SR-1 and a FR-5 or FR-5G allows me to change my own cassette before races or for a special ride. The SR-1 has a nice, long arm on it so you can get some pretty good leverage on even the most stubborn lockring. Buy once & forget about it It does the job so I can get onto other things. There may be cheaper ones out there, but this one will probably outlast 'em. The wrench end is super-handy because it fits the cassette lockring tool. a lot heftier than i imagined, but for a chain whip, that's definitely a good thing. wrench is kind pointless, but for what it is, it performs very well. Essential If you work on your bikes at all, you better have one in your tool kit too. I once paid someone to remove my cassette and that was embarrassing. Why? Could've chain whip and cassette remover for the service price. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money on this version with the coating around the handle, you're palms will thank you for it. Pros: Cassette removal is a snap Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: September 01, 2010 Reviewed by: TD, California Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
