The only thing that I'd watch for is if using this post for cx races. It only has one bolt that could strip when jumping back onto the saddle.

Excellent seatpost

I am very happy with this seatpost. I'm using it on a steel cyclocross build with a Fizik alliante versus saddle and it clamps a saddle easily and firmly.

Pros: Excellent manufacture, finish, and fit.
Also; the price is really nice.

Cons: None; unless weight is the most important thing to you.

You buy this seat post for its price. And for that price, its much better than going to your local shop and buying a no-name branded product from a catalogue. The single bolt is fine, except it won't hold seats as well as a double bolt layout. Also, this seatpost will not give you a wide range of offset options as other higher end manufacturers will.

Decent seatpost

I bought this for my single speed 29er build. The saddle was easy to put on and adjust. I set it in the frame and promptly forgot about it.

Pros: Inexpensive
Solid

Cons: Not the lightest, but hey...

Great basic seatpost

This is a great inexpensive seat post. Has etched lines on the post to reset the height after lowering for downhill.

Pros: etched lines on post

Cons: Could use numbers next to the lines for easy resetting of the height.

needed a replacement post for my M1 this seat post is nice if your seat tube is on a pretty good angle
