Inexpensive for 29er tires with such a great tread and quality. I've never had a puncture while riding these. Although the sidewalls could stand to be a little thicker as it's easy to get pinch flats if the pressure is even slightly below where it should be.
Pros: inexpensive, nice tread, good quality
Cons: sidewalls could be a bit thicker

Yes No Report as InappropriateNanos are the tire of choice for rides such as The Tour Divide. Its tread pattern provides consistent performance in the dirt, and the center line gives the tire a fast roll.
I've been using Nanos off and on, since their inception, however in the last 2 or 3 years I've found myself on them a lot. In the realm of "mixed terrain" rides, i.e. fire roads, single track, pavement... in short in the world of expedition style touring... Nanos set the standard. these are the tires that a vast majority of riders on the Tour Divide are using.
personally I go back and forth from Vulpines to Nanos using either a latex sealant or tubes...
NANOS... an all time favorite!
Pros: fast, light, consistent performance
