Best Underrated Rims Ever.
If anyone didn't know, Azonic Outlaw Wheelset uses Alex Supra D Rims then paints + rebrands it..kinda funny lol.
Either way, I have been using Supra D rims for years now. They are solid performers, decent weight, and most importantly extremely solid and strong. I do abuse the rims and they have held up to everything. If anything, the spokes break from torqueing to hard.
The rims itself have clipped rocks and actually haven't developed any flat spots so they are durable, often more so than other flat-magnet rims. No tire pinches, no cracks, nothing. Everything works as intended after all these years. Some people may disregard the actual, sole rim as nothing too important (a decent one is a decent one) compared to the spokes, hubs, etc. But try using cheaper rims and you'll see a difference and variation in handling.
Overall, the performance and strength ratio is excellent. Everything performs accurately and flawlessly. No complaints and not a single broken rim or huge/noticeable flat spots or flaws. Hands down, the best underrated rims that can compete on a much higher level in terms of durability, performance, and overall construction.
*Surprised how little people runs these rims in regards to aftermarket purchases, etc. Can't go wrong.
Pros: - Great overall performance
- Durable, no snaps, breaks, etc.
- Solid Rims, with great construction.
- Walls prevent pinchs/flats (good handling).
- Great all-around performance for FR/DH/AM and other categories.
Cons: - No Definitive Flaw(s).
