Bike Ribbon Splash Cork Tape

very high quality

i just found out that this tape is actually 'paddier' than a comparable Selev, or Cinelli tape...very easy to wrap

will be using this tape instead of grips on a soma sparrow bar...why not...put tape where you want it

Pros: price and quality, i have re-wrapped several times without breaking, good stretch

Cons: need more colors and patters

Bought this bar tape to match the colors on a fixed gear bike project. The black and red splash look really caught my eye, and looked great once it was installed. However, I did have some trouble installing the tape -- it ripped at one point when I was apparently pulling it too tight around the bar. (Never had that happen before.) Also, found the tape was not very comfortable on long rides, and ultimately swapped it out after about three months of use.

Pros: Great aesthetics -- love the look.

Cons: Apparently a bit more delicate than other bar tape on the market. Also not the most comfortable on long rides. But great if you're building a nice looking bike you don't plan on taking on long trips.

Comfortable, ordinary tape. A good value.

Pros: looks perfect on my mid 90s road bike

Cons: More modern cyclists laugh at me sometimes.
