Great tire This is an excellent tire. Racy! It really surprised me with how grippy it was despite the very low profile knobs. The casing is supple and conforms well to the trail. Seals perfectly when used tubeless on stans rims as you'd expect. A fantastic race tire for dry conditions. Great in hardpack and on rocks and surprisingly good in looser conditions. I haven't had any trouble with sidewalls tears but that can be luck of the draw. Pros: Light, rolls very well, surprisingly grippy. Cons: Not the best in mud, there's no such thing as the perfect tire. Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: October 05, 2011 Reviewed by: Patrick, Australia Was this review Helpful? Crow Tire - Stans No Tube I use these tires tubeless for sandy riding conditions in West Africa. I have about 3000 km on these tires and have had excellent performance. I typically run 18 to 24 psi depending on sandy the conditions are. Pros: Very light, low rolling resistance, and excellent float in sand. Relative to other tires, the ability to rapidly accelerate and push through heavy sand is excellent. Cons: The tires do not have aggressive nobbies. I do not think these tires would perform well in mud or hard pack conditions.
